Catholic Social Teaching for Public Life

Faith belongs in the public square. Learn what the Church actually teaches.

Equipping parishes to shape the culture with the Church's social teaching.

An annual parish license brings the curriculum and Formation Academy together. Your parish prepares its facilitators and sets its own schedule—without individual membership dues or per-participant fees.

Raphael, St. Paul Preaching in Athens (c. 1515)
St. Paul proclaims the “unknown god” to the philosophers of Athens at the Areopagus, the city's ancient council of reason and law (Acts 17:16–34). Some scoff, some ponder, and some believe, among them Dionysius the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris.Raphael · St. Paul Preaching in Athens · c. 1515

The Need

A teaching few have studied

Catholics are asked to bring their faith into public life, yet few have ever studied what the Church actually teaches about work, family, the economy, the state and human dignity. Partisan media fills the gap.

The Parish Model

Curriculum and formation, together

Start with one 15-session term or license the full 30-session curriculum. Formation seats accompany each parish license, and licensed parishes may print materials for all their participants.

Parish Curriculum

Teacher guides, participant handouts, facilitator scripts and primary-source readings for thirty sessions.

Formation Academy

Preparation and certification for parish facilitators.

Parish Licensing

One annual license, unlimited printing inside your parish.

Diocesan Partnerships

A shared framework for formation across parishes.

“The Church's social teaching is an integral part of the Christian conception of life.”

St. John XXIII, Mater et Magistra, 222
